FRAULEIN REVOLTECH is the name given to a new dimension of Revoltech completely devoted to female character created and sculpted by the brilliant Enoki Tomohide, using an innovative and newly developed joint/body system known as "E.L.F." "Pocco" is originated from the picture & art book "Sweet Dreams," created by the famous Japanese illustrator Shunya Yamashita. "Fraulein Revoltech Pocco" is the fourth character/figure to be released as a part of "FRAULEIN REVOLTECH" line. The figure is 6" tall, has 20 articulation points with 10 joint parts and comes equipped with interchangeable accessories/parts (1 sword , 2 set of hands and 1 display base).
Absolutely StunningReviewed by Sean K. Falkenbury, 2010-02-09
I really should expect as much from Revoltech, but the level of
detail is amazing for a posable figure. It's a little delicate, but
I don't handle my figures roughly anyway. It's more of a posable
statue than an action figure.
I think that the busy costume helps to blend the joints that are
all too visible on similar figures. 9 times out of 10 I don't even
notice the joints (provided I'm viewing from the front).
The figure's body is well balanced, so it doesn't usually need the
included stand except for the more extreme positions (action poses
and the like).
All in all, I would and will recommend this to my friends who
collect.
LovelyReviewed by Lilaithia, 2010-02-07
She's very beautiful, I've had her on my bookshelf for a couple weeks now and I love her. The only annoyance is when you try to change her hands, sometimes the arm(s) come off instead of just the hand and it get's annoying having to put the arm back together again.
looks nice, but could have been built better.Reviewed by David M. Thomas, 2010-01-23
It looks really nice. I have it displayed on my shelf right now, and I think it looks really cool. It comes with multiple hands that you can switch out. It's a pain in the butt if you do decide to switch them. The extra hands don't fit well. I can't get them all the way on, so I'm careful to not knock them off. I was worried that I might break the thing by trying to use all my strength to fit the things together. Besides that it's a good figure.
Treat her gently...Reviewed by AM, 2010-01-08
Pocco is a gorgeous figurine, well sculpted, well articulated, very
pleasant to look at... but be careful with it. I wanted to replace
the hands with the open hands (included), so she could hold her
sword. Getting the hands off and the new ones on took a LOT more
force than I'd have expected. Enough that I inadvertently broke one
of her wings. Bad thing. The solution would have been to take off
her arm completely at the shoulder joint, so I could apply pressure
as needed, without risking the rest of the figure, but I didn't
think of that at the time.
So... it's my own fault for being reckless, but be aware that
changing hands on Pocco is a serious battle, and has to be done
with care. That said, I like the figure enough that I'm seriously
considering buying a replacement, and using my broken one for spare
parts.
Lorissa's ReviewReviewed by Lorissa C. Boltinghouse, 2009-12-19
I like the attention to detail this action figure shows. While looking her over for any imperfections in the painting, I found none. I loved the pose ability of her arms, legs, hands, torso, etc. What I did not like/do not like is the fragility of her arms. They fall off at the slightest touch. But it is true that this toy is not meant to be played with constantly. She is meant to be showcased &shown off. I would suggest to anyone looking to buy this figurine not to get it for a child or anyone that wound not be content with just displaying her. Overall, I really love this model &I am happy with my decision to buy her.
